The recent launch of the new BMW X4 Concept at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show confirmed that the model is really close to the production version. This week, another piece of vital information confirms that the German manufacturer is planning to start its production as soon as possible.
The BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina is responsible for building all SUV models for the Bavarian manufacturer. They just announced that the Guided Factory Tour will be suspended until the Summer of 2014 due to new model production.
That means that until next summer all new BMW SUVs will be launched. This gives us a good timeframe as to when the new X4 and X5 will be launched. However, the BMW Zentrum Museum will still be open and will allow BMW enthusiasts to experience the power and history of the brand, firsthand.
