The all-new MINI hatchback was revealed just a month ago in a few very sexy flavors and already the British marque is thinking ahead with more excitement and power, added in copious amounts to the John Cooper Works.
Scheduled to debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, the John Cooper Works version that tops the existing Cooper S has been revealed today. MINI is calling it a concept, but it's a thinly veiled production car. In fact the only concept part of this car is the fact that it doesn't have a complete interior yet.

Compared to the S, the JCW concept boasts a more aggressive looking front end, thick 18-inch wheels and a very nice paintjob. This is called Bright Highways Grey and looks like the brushed metallic look featured in the car wrapping world and pops out thanks to bright red striping for the bonnet, different trim piece and roof.

Compared to a Mercedes design, the John Cooper Works has all the refinement of a hammer. But at the same time it captures that certain something, that "cool right now" factor you just don't get anywhere else.
