Famous Mercedes-Benz tuner Inden Design has accustomed us to some of the sleekest, most powerful V8 projects on the market. However when the brand new C-Class sedan came out a few months ago, id didn't bring any V8 engines with it. Knowing where their forte is, Inden decided to make their own fake AMG model based on the humble C 180 and its 1.6-liter turbo engine.
This has received a major boost in power from 156 hp to 200 hp. The four-cylinder now also gets noticed, thanks to a new rear exhaust system, skillfully plucked from the underbelly of a mighty C63 AMG Black Series Coupe.
Inden is a small company and unlike Carlsson, they don't focus too much on the cosmetic side of things. They started out with a C-Class sedan that had the AMG Line body kit and added their own spoilers. The changes are minimal in comparison to the matte sandstone metallic wrap dune by a company called TTS.. Accenting the design are blue painted brake calipers and the carbon fiber look of the body kit elements.
The vehicle sits 45 mm (1.7 inches) lower, thanks to an upgraded sports suspension and rolls on a new set of wheels. The rims, provided by Barracuda Racing Wheels, come in a twin-spoke design and measure 20 inches on all four corners, covered up in the latest sticky rubber from Dunlop.
One word to describe a nice exhaust and lots of hard work? That would have to be "cool". This C-Class project is definitely that!
