The Paris Motor Show is just a few weeks away and among the models that'll debut there will be the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG. However, the German carmaker has brought two of them in Affalterbach when the Mercedes-AMG GT super coupe was unveiled and good golly, they're almost undisguised.
As if that wasn't good enough for us AMG hungry enthusiasts, both the sedan and the estate (T-Model) were spied inside and out by the peeps from DiarioMotor. So what's to be expected from the German bruisers? First of all, say goodbye to the 6.2-liter V8. In its place, the M178 4-liter biturbo V8 is going to turn gasoline into horsepower and big bangs.

That's the same engine that debuted on the new Mercedes-AMG GT. On the super coupe, it offers either 462 or 510 horsepower, but in the case of the new C 63 AMG it's still a mystery just what tune AMG has gone for. The old naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 was tuned to produce 457 ponies on the normal C 63 AMG and 487 horsepower with the AMG Performance package.

The W205 generation of the C 63 AMG and its 4-liter biturbo V8 will most likely sport at least 460 horsepower in base tune and 490 ponies in AMG Performance pack guise (or C 63 AMG S, as it's the case now), outputs that are pretty similar to those of the new AMG GT and GT S. As for the transmission, that will come in the form of an AMG-designed seven-speed Speedshift dual-clutch job.

We expect the more powerful variant of the breed to be available only with Mercedes' 4-Matic all-wheel drive system. As for the interior, we're excited to tell you that a pair of racing-style bucket seats are fitted to the new C 63 AMG, sporting white contrasting stitching and brushed aluminum detailing together with red seat belts for added visual drama.

On the outside, aesthetic differences are not that many between the normal W205 and its AMG brother. As expected, there's bigger wheels, stickier rubber, a dramatic front fascia design and modern-style AMG quad exhaust tips with dual outlets, just like one might find on the bigger Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG.
