You are looking at what seems to be an upcoming facelift for the Mazda MX-5 / Miata , with scans from a Japanese brochure having leaked onto the web. We are dealing with a revamped version of the NC platform model, which will use the NC3 designation.
This will come with a fresh front fascia, including a new grille design, which will place the car in line with the carmaker’s future models. As you can see in one of the images, the 2013 model year Miata / MX-5 will use a pop-up hood, that will offer an increased level of safety for pedestrians in the event of an impact.
Mazda is also upgrading the exterior color and wheel range, as well as the interior, but we can’t tell if the tech side of the car will also be updated.
