What do you call a test of a vehicle’s all-wheel-drive system that combines extreme winter conditions with hairpin mountain turns, sheer cliffs and 12,000 feet of elevation gain in the Rocky Mountains?
That’s what TFL Car is asking and they also provide an answer to the question. This extreme test will be called the Loveland Gauntlet and it was designated to test the limits of the 2014 Lexus LX 570 luxury SUV.
However, this is just a teaser, showing us the nasty weather up in the Rocky Mountains right now and the LX having some 4-wheel-drive fun in the snow. The hard part will come in a next video where the guys will have to drive on a snowy road right next to a 1,000 feet drop off with the wind blowing hard from the side.
