Lexus never stops to be amazing lately. After it debuted the RC, RC F, a new GS F as well as the LF-C2 concept, the automaker just confirmed it has yet another surprise for us this March at the Geneva Auto Show where a new prototype is to be unveiled.
Along with the introduction of the new GS F performance sedan and the LF-C2 cabrio concept to the Europeans, the Geneva show will be the place where Lexus is said to debut yet another concept. The automaker’s lips are shut about it so we can only guess what that could be.

Our two cents are on the pre-production LF-LC luxury sportscar. The concept created quite a lot of hype lately and the automaker envisions putting more coupes into its current lineup, consisting mostly of sedans and SUVs.

The LF-LC could enter production as a large luxurious grand tourer possibly motivated by a hybrid powertrain to bring some freshness into the class.

A new SUV seems legit

On the other hand, Lexus could also bring a next generation RX concept, since most dealerships have complained the demand for such a vehicle is big and they should build one fast, also in a 7-seat configuration.

The current third generation Lexus RX is already 7 years old, and despite coming with a facelift now, it still looks and feels outdated. Guess this could be more important than the large coupe so you can expect seeing a new SUV at Geneva.

As with the other two, the GS F sedan just joined Lexus’ performance branch, coming with the naturally aspirated 5-liter V8 from the RC F, blasting 467 hp and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. All the power goes to the rear via an 8-speed automatic transmission and a torque vectoring differential, while the suspension, brakes and steering have been tuned to make the car more sporty.

The LF-C2 concept is basically a slightly restyled, sharper looking RC with no roof. Although the automaker said to be only a design study, we know the RC was built with a convertible version in mind, reason why it’s that heavy. Still, dealerships went nuts hearing about a cabrio and urged the automaker to build a new crossover.

That’s about it for now, but do stay with us for more info as soon as it’ll be available.
