New Leon Cupra Stars in First Commercial

Usually when SEAT makes commercials, they're generic and simply try and show off some clever features, but the first ad featuring the third generation Leon Cupra is a little different. We are, of course, talking about the fastest SEAT ever made, so it's packed with the sorts of things us manly men like (and probably don't do any more).
Mirrors that fold out electrically, like on an expensive German car, check. You're dressed to the 8s and you're feeling unstoppable as a couple of girls check you out. A bit of rugby on the weekends to get testosterone back into the system? Yeah, that fits into the Cupra lifestyle, right before handbrake turns in an abandoned shipyard.

And like any hot blooded male deserves, a beautiful woman who's not offended by testosterone, petrol and fighting arrives, smiles at you and gets in the car without bickering. Yeah, that seems like the perfect lifestyle.

With up to 280 hp from a 2-liter turbo engine, the SEAT Leon Cupra is definitely a car up any 30-something's alley. It can already be ordered across Europe with a choice of 3-door or 5-door bodies, 265 or 280 hp, manual or DSG gearboxes. All come with a limited slip diff. All are extremely fast and all take 6 seconds or less to reach 100 km/h for the ultimate bragging rights.

This SEAT is the stablemate of the Golf GTI and Skoda Octavia vRS, but it's got the most powerful version of the 2-liter turbo fitted to a non-AWD model. Compared to a GTI, this makes 45 hp more. But be warned, the sharp edges that make the exterior so cool give it a cheap-ish feel inside. We'd give SEAT a little bit of extra money for the chrome interior trim and aluminum pedals, which lift the cabin from anonymity.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
