If you're tired of looking at the same old Lamborghini Aventador in your driveway, we have something that can spice things up a bit. It's the LP988 Edizione GT, a tuning project without equal from the guys at DMC Germany.
The definition of 'hardcore', this custom body kit cuts an aggressive line through the air using carbon fiber blades that wouldn't look out of place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. After parting with a substantial $288,000 (just for the added buts, not including the car), you too can enjoy these marvelous racing components that include a big diffuser, meaty adjustable wing and totally reworked front bumper. Just keep it away from high curbs and speed bumps.
Also included are larger diameter racing multi-spoke black alloy wheels and a new set of exhaust tips. The interior gets its own custom touches on the LP988, brought together using red and black leather and a touch of carbon fiber.
We're pretty sure very few people got out of the 700 hp supercar wanting more, but just in case, DMC has completely re-engineered the 6.5-liter V12 engine of the Aventador. The list of nerdalicious goodies include new fuel lines, fuel pump, high-flow injection nozzles, a twin-turbo charging system and a remapped ECU. The result: more power than a LaFerrari, 988 PS (727 kW) to be more precise.
Since we can't conceal our excitement very well, we might as well through being objective out the window and call this Lamborghini's Italo-German hypercar.
