KTM decided the perfect venue to show new 2014 model year KTM X-BOW GT was Geneva 2013, which is said to be a track car that's a bit more practical. You no longer have to wear a full helmet to ensure you don't eat bugs for breakfast or get stoned to death by debris because the GT model has a windshield.
The KTM X-BOW GT keeps its Audi 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with direct injection, turbocharging and intercooling. However, the little devil provides 285 HP at 6,400 rpm and 420 Nm (210 lb-ft) of torque at 3,200 rpm, down from last year's 300 HP. There's still enough power to make the two-seater car accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 231 km/h (144 mph).
The GT is all about being practical, as KTM fitted the it with doors, a windshield, side windows and a soft top. They said you can even take some luggage with you, provided it fits within the 50 liter storage compartments. The fun little car shown at Geneva 2013 is already available on order from 72,500 EUR.
