New Kia Sedona Pricing Starts at $26,795

After it made its world debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show in April, Kia Motors America put a price tag on the 2015 Kia Sedona. Besides the added kit and revised visuals, the biggest news comes in the form of a 3.3-liter V6 engine that replaces the old 3.5-liter six-cylinder mill of the previous model.

The new powerplant boasts with 276 horsepower thanks to trickery such as direct injection and it's mated as standard to a six-speed auto. Compared to the 2014 model year, the 2015 Kia Sedona is 1 mpg better in city driving thanks to an EPA-rated 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. For the basic L trim level you're charged $26,795 including destination.

Step up to the mid-level EX and you're looking at $32,995, translating to a $1,200 increase over the 2014 model year Kia Sedona EX. Need more kit? Then go for the $36,995 SX. But if you want the best the Sedona has to offer, you'll have to pay a hefty $40,595 for the range-topping SX Limited.

A minivan that can seat seven, the 2015 Sedona is more aesthetically pleasing than its forerunner. For $400, Kia will upgrade it to an eight-seater. In standard, the entry-level Sedona L comes loaded with equipment, including 19-inch alloy wheals, cool LED taillights and an integrated bumper guard.

The next-generation UVO infotainment system is also available for all the in-car entertainment your family needs on long trips. If you need something to keep the kids happy and quiet, Kia offers a $995 rear-seat entertainment system for that. But if you also want to spruce things up a bit, the $2,700 Technology Package adds xenon HID headlights and a bundle of active safety technologies.
