New Jeep Grand Cherokee Australian Pricing Released

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee has made its way to Australia. Customers from Down Under receiving the vehicle starting from today, with the prices starting at AUD45,000.

The vehicle’s pricing sits thousands below that of the outgoing model, despite the fact that the SUV comes with multiple enhancements in the features, equipment and quality areas.

As for the engine range, customers can choose between a new 3.6 liter Pentastar V6, which offers a 10 percent fuel efficiency increase comped to the unit it replaces and a 5.7 liter HEMI V8, with both engines offering impressive towing capacities.

Here are the main off-roading features of the new Grand Cherokee:
  • NEW Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension system
  • Choice of two 4x4 systems: Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II with rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential (ELSD)
  • NEW Jeep Selec-Terrain system featuring five terrain settings to match conditions
  • NEW independent front and rear suspension systems
  • NEW body structure provides 146-percent increase in torsional stiffness for improved NVH
