Jaguar is still some days away from actually revealing the F-Type at the Paris Motor Show, and we can’t say that we’re not excited about this pure, light and powerful sporscar.
However, our excitement will have to be put on hold because there’s a fresh set of leaked spy photos for us to go over. These where revealed by a Teamspeed forum user and seem to have been taken down since, but not before Carscoop got hold of them.

This is the very first time we have been able to show you the roadster’s interior, which is thankfully very similar to that of the concept. This driver-centric layout features a stiffening brace that limits the passenger's view of the dashboard. The seats are not the same as those on the concept and look like they came out of the XKR, though we can’t tell if they’re also the same size.

You might say the interior is understated, being all-black, but in fact it’s more modern than that of the Porsche Boxster without being impractical.

The resolution of the photos is not high enough, but from what we can tell, one of the cars in the leaked photos is branded with an “S”. The F-Type is going to be powered by 340PS and 380PS versions of Jaguar's new 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine and a new derivative of its 5.0-litre V8 supercharged unit. For a while, we’ve believed that car with quad exhausts is the V8.

autoevolution will be attending the Paris Motor Show 2012, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
