New Incentives Available for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra

General Motors has announced new incentives on its redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks, as September sales declined due to discounts offered by Detroit rivals Ford and Chrysler’s Ram Truck brand.

According to Automotive News, GM is offering, starting October, $1,000 in customer cash on the 2014 Silverado, while some packages will get an additional $500 taken off their price tag. In addition, dealers will be rewarded $200 for each 2014 Chevrolet Silverado truck they sell.

Last month, Chevrolet Silverado sales decreased by 10.8 percent, while GMC Sierra deliveries went down 1.5 percent. Meanwhile, Ford and Ram truck sales registered increases in September.

As a reminder, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks are on sale for a few months now with recommended starting prices set at $24,585 and $25,085 respectively.
