Hyundai today took the wraps off the newest version of the i30, the car that got VW all worked up. This is the new i30 Wagon that will bow at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, looking all brown and civilized.
To make it into a wagon, Hyundai has added 185 mm to the back of the car to create that big boot. At 4485 mm overall, the 2012 i30 Wagon is only slightly longer than the old one, by 10 mm.

For those of you who like to carry liters around with you, we can tell you that you can fit 528 of them with the back seats in place, and 1,642 when they are folded. The hatchback model only offers 378 liters of boot space.

"The New Generation i30 has been widely praised for its style, quality, and value. Our new wagon offers all of those attributes plus even greater load-carrying capacity. We expect it to appeal strongly to those looking for stylish and flexible practicality, especially active families,” says Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor Europe.
