The brand new generation of the Hyundai Genesis sedan has been spied completely undesigned, probably taking part in an official photo shoot at or near the Nurburgring.
First things first, the Genesis has some completely new winged badges, a bit wider than the old ones. The Bentley similarities are going to be obvious there, as are the hints of Audi: grille, taillights and headlights.
But perhaps the most interesting badge on the whole car is the one that says "G38 HTRAC" at the back, letting us know this model packs a 3.8-liter direct injected V6 mated to an eight-speed gearbox and the new all-wheel drive system.
The new Genesis will be revealed later this month in Korea. However, in the US, they've just announced 2014 model year updates for the old car, which means this sexy new luxury sedan won't go on sale until at least next summer.
Even from these spy photos, taken from afar, we can easily spot a marked improvement in perceived build quality, through crisp design and tight panel gaps, not to mention LED lighting.
