New Honda NSX Previewed by Avengers Movie Acura Concept

We love it when automotive puzzle pieces come together, especially if this leads to the birth is sportscars or supercars. It is now time for us to open the box of the age 18 and up Honda NSX puzzle and see what Honda is preparing.
We already know that a successor for the NSX is coming, as the company’s CEO, Takanobu Ito, has confirmed this. However, the executive explained that the carmaker want to use a green pathway, fueling the fire of previous unofficial reports, which indicated that the NSX could return as a hybrid.

As you may remember, a set of images of a mysterious Acura concept used on the set of the upcoming The Avengers movie showed up last month. In the picture, the car will be used by Tony Stark, Mr Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), but is seems that the vehicle will also have a real life translation.

New images of the car have been snapped by AutoExpress, which claims that the concepts is some sort of a preview for the NSX revival, even though the car could receive a new designation.

There are new rumors, indicating that Honda might offer the car with a gasoline engine, while the hybrid development will be reserved for its luxury division, Acura, with the vehicle potentially using a drivetrain that combines a V6 unit with two electric motors.

It seems that future NSX will be be priced under $100,000 (EUR75,000), which will place it in the same financial league with cars like the Nissan GT-R. This means that it will have to be one fast machine.
