The all-new Honda Civic has gone on sale in Australia and is now available for purchase with prices starting at $22,650 AUD for a VTi-S trim car with a manual gearbox and rise to $29,990 AUD for a VTi-L spec car with an automatic gearbox.
When we tested the Honda Civic, we were impressed by its exterior and interior design, as well as the smooth and responsive naturally aspirated 1.8-liter engine with 140hp, and it is these qualities (and not much else, really) that will convince Australian buyers that the new Japanese hatch deserves their hard earned money.

The new Civic may also win back some buyers, courtesy of its long list of standard (and optional) features, such as its six airbags (front, side and full length curtain), Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control, Honda’s G-Con technology, tyre pressure monitoring system and a reversing camera available for the VTi-L.
