It's official, the new MINI will be unveiled this year. The bad news is that we'll have to wait until November, for both the Los Angeles and Tokyo Auto Shows, since the British company decided to launch the new car almost simultaneously at the two shows.
November 18, 2013 marks the day the new MINI will be launched in a ceremony held at the MINI Oxford Plant followed by a party in London. The date wasn't chosen at random, marking the 107th year since Sir Alec Issigonis, the man that designed the original Mini and thus started a worldwide automotive revolution, was born.

Just two days later, on November 20th, the LA and Tokyo Auto Shows will have their limelights set on the new car too, unveiling it to 2 additional continents. As its predecessors, the new MINI will be produced in Oxford.

With completely new engines and chassis technologies, the new car is once again aiming to become the new benchmark for driving enjoyment in its class. We wish it all the luck in the world and can't wait to drive it!
