Ford has announced the UK pricing information for the new Kuga, and surprisingly, it is around £1,000 cheaper than the outgoing model. It will be priced from £20,895, when it hits UK dealerships in the first part of 2013. It will be available in three trim levels, called Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X, and like its predecessor, it gets all-wheel drive as an option.
Even basic versions get 17-inch alloys, sports seats, cruise control and keyless go, while Titanium adds glossy black plastic grille surround, automatic headlamps, part-leather seats, dual-zone climate control, as well as Ford SYNC infotainment system.

Opt for the range topping Titanium X, and it gets upgraded 18-inch rims, bi-xenon headlamps with an adaptive function, LED tail lighs, as well as a full-leather interior and a sliding panoramic roof. The option of all-wheel drive costs around £1,500 extra on all models, except Titanium X, which gets it as standard.

The engine range is quite straightforward, with a 1.6-liter EcoBoost unit with 150 hp being the base motor, which also comes with 180 hp, for those willing to pay a little bit extra for some more go. Ford also offers two versions of the 2.0-liter TDCi diesel, with either 140 hp or 163 hp, which can be coupled to either a manual or an automatic six-speed box.
