New Ford Fiesta Makes Video Debut

Europe’s finest handling B-segment car has just become better. Yes, the facelift for the Ford Fiesta, a car launched in Europe back in 2008, is here with radical cosmetic changes.
The popular supermini has received new, much bigger upper grille and a smaller lower one, copying the look of the Fiesta ST hot hatch version.

"Fiesta has been one of the world’s best-loved small cars across five decades, and the sporty appeal of the last generation Fiesta inspired real passion among global compact car customers, contributing to its status as the world’s most successful small car," said Martin Smith, Ford of Europe executive design director.

The car is also packed with new technologies, gets the new 1-liter EcoBoost engines and the Ford SYNC system, with Bluetooth and USB connectivity and Emergency Assistance.

One important technological highlight for the Fiesta is the Active City Stop system, which helps drivers avoid low-speed collisions. Full details and pricing will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show, where the car will be sold.
