Yet another vehicle joins the Fiat Professional range, but it’s not what you think. It’s yet another city hatch that’s been converted into a workhorse - the Panda Van, based on the new Panda launched by the Italian carmaker last year.
To increase the practicality offered by this small car, two versions are offered, one with the rear bench and one that does without it all together. But no matter which version you’ll go for, there will only be two engine available for you, and that the 1.3L MultiJet diesel with 75 horsepower or the 1.2L petrol with 68 horsepower. Both come in front-wheel drive with a manual gearbox.
Instead of metal panels replacing the rear windows like other such models get, the Panda Van keeps its glass but has it tinted in the back.
Prices in Italy start at just €8,850 (US$10,900) and can go up to €11,700 (US14,400) for a fully-specked model.
