Yesterday we showed you a Fiat Panda tuned by Novitec, which had gifted the little car's two-cylinder TwinAir engine with a new exhaust and an ECU remap, convincing the unit to deliver 100 hp instead of 85 hp.
The 100 hp output not only took the car closer to the sporty area, but also reminded us the previous generation's range-topper, the Panda 100 hp. It seems that we won't have to turn to the aftermarket world to obtain the power in the future, as Fiat is preparing a 100 hp version for the new, third-generation Panda.
Fiat will introduce a 105 hp version of the 2-cylinder TwinAir engine of the 500L model and the powerplant is also expected to make its way under the hood of the fresh Panda, thus creating a warm hatch.
As expected, the beefier engine will be accompanied by sportier suspension settings, as well as by a set of exterior and interior changes.
