New Fiat Bravo / Dart Hatchback Rendering

Fiat is in a bit of a tight spot financially right now. Business for Chrysler is booming, but Europe’s economy is hurting and sales are at levels from a few decades ago. So corners have to be cut wherever possible.

Rumors suggested that a hatchback version of the upcoming (in Europe) Fiat Viaggio sedan would be marketed as the new Bravo. So when scans of the hatchback’s lines emerged a few days ago, they were quickly turned into a set of renderings by Theophilus Chin.

The fans of the current Bravo will probably dislike the bland styling buy enjoy the extra room coming from the American-sized Dodge Dart platform.

Editor’s note: Alfa Romeo Giulietta gets tuned into the Dodge Dart. Dodge Dart gets turned into Fiat Viaggio. Dart gets made into a hatchback. Hatchback gets renamed as Fiat Bravo in Europe. Is anything really original and new these days?
