New Ferrari Store Opens in Athens

Italian manufacturer Ferrari opened its first official store in Greece yesterday, located in Athens, on the Kolokotroni Street. Just as expected, a special selection of Ferraris were displayed in front of the store, framing the ribbon cutting ceremony, which was performed by Giancarlo Fisichella, the renown Ferrari driver.

Fisichella officially inaugurated the store, then greeted the fans. Other special guests to the event included Massimiliano Ferrari, Ferrari Licencing and Retail Director and Theodore N. Charagionis, Charagionis Group Executive Chairman.

The new Ferrari Store is located in an historic building of the city of around 300 square meter and it is spread over two floors, with six windows providing a direct view of the street. Just like the other Pracing Horse stores, this one is also developed entirely by the Studio Iosa Ghini.

A replica of the Formula One single-seater welcomes visitors as they enter, while a pit-lane traced on the ground accompanies them into the shop and leads them to the various areas into which it is divided. Each area has thus been carefully designed to offer a wide selection of products from the Prancing Horse ranges for GT owners and enthusiasts, and Ferrari fans.

Ferrari Store Athens will be managed by the Charagionis Group, specialized in the investment, development and management of retail, shopping and leisure centres as well as in the expansion of retail activities. The Ferrari Store development program includes plans to bring the number of openings to more than 50 over the next two years in Europe, America, and the Middle and Far East.
