What would the automotive world be without Ferrari? The coolest red car around would probably be a vague Audi, arabs would drive around in Aventadors and Stuttgart would have the only prancing horse.
As cool as Ferrari is, there's one model that fails miserably, a puddle of Maserati GranTurismo parts tickled to look sporty. We call it Paris Hilton's Ferrari, the California.
Seeing the error of its ways, the Maranello supercar company has worked hard and changed basically everything about the car for a major facelift, revealed only recently ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut.
The California T is famous on the internet, but it's infamous in Italy. Back at home, the new model is stocked like a football player having an affair or a politician taking bribes. Immediatly after its official press release, it's already been spotted undergoing testing on the streets of Bologna, wearing white camo.
The F12-inspired exhaust system is what immediately gives it away, though wondering about town under a white hood is probably a bit conspicuous.
As a reminder, the new California model is powered by a twin-turbo 3,855cc V8 engine producing 560 hp and 755 Nm of torque, allowing the California T to perform a 0-62mph sprint in 3.6 seconds. More importantly, it looks like a true supercar and not a Maserati.
