You should know that every emotions that a Ferrari-badged vehicle sends has deep roots, being a modern day translation of Enzo Ferrari’s spirit. The man had a strong personality, so powerful that he could even place customers lower than racing on his list of priorities. However, this was a good thing, as it allowed him to create mind-blowing vehicles that entered the history books.
Now, Enzo has his own museum, with the the local authorities in Modena Italy (his birth town) having recently inaugurated the Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari - yes, this has no official connection with Ferrari. The building’s project was started by famous architect Jan Kaplicky back in 2003, but when he passed away in 2009, it was taken over by one of his colleagues Andrea Morgante.
The museum, which require an investment of €18 million (US$23.6 million) is expected to attract up to 200,000 visitors per year. It displays modern and retro Ferrari cars, as well as Enzo’s personal things. You can take a virtual tour of the site by watching the adjacent video.
