New eCRP Electric Racebike Website Launched

Curious about detailed information of the technology applied to two-wheeled green racing? eCRP, the racing electric motorcycle made-in-Italy, is now heavily promoted by its creators via a special dedicated website that brings users an inside look to the Vice World Champion 2010 and European Champion 2010 of TTXGP.

The new online platform, which can be accessed by following this link, is divided into six categories: Electric Motorcycle Project, eCRP 1.4 (the flagship of the season 2011), Services on Track, Book Now, Electric Motorcycle Championships, eCRP World (an area dedicated to the world of eCRP with photos, videos and much more).

As soon as you enter the website, a message from Giampiero Testoni, CRP Racing Technical Chief, is there to welcome you: “Designing an electric racing motorcycle requires talent, knowledge and know-how that have allowed us to translate into reality a new concept of racing motorcycling.”

Meanwhile, CRP Racing is working on a new generation of the eCRP, which will be the workhorse of the 2011 season and is available for lease by all teams taking part to electric championships such as ePower and TTXGP.

The eCRP 1.4 electric racing motorcycle will be equipped with a datalogger and sensors with built-in GPS, a new racing dashboard, dual DC motors that are new for 2011 and integrated air cooling.

The dashboard datalogger can record the values from sensors for front and rear suspensions, the throttle, the control of volts / amps into and out of the controller, monitoring the temperature of the motors (updated 2011) and controller. All this will be integrated with the GPS that records speed, acceleration and trajectory on time.

Tipping the scales at 160 kg, the eCRP 1.4 is suited for the two new classes of TTXGP, Formula 75 and Open Formula GP.
