It looks like one of the best-selling modern Ducati machines is being revamped, rumors have it: a new Diavel is said to break cover early next week. On Monday, to be more specific.
The news comes via a Diavel forum, with one of the users stating that an official Ducati dealer hinted him on the imminent move the Borgo Panigale manufacturer is planning. Still the information has to be confirmed by official sources, but such rumors seem to be true after all, especially when it comes to updating existing Ducati models.

Ducati’s new muscle bike is supposed to be an early 2015 model, and reach the dealers around the world in May this year. Most of the updates are said to be in the aesthetic sector, but performance is also to be revised, the same source mentions. The overall look of the new 2015 Diavel is more aggressive, while the rider’s comfort will be enhanced, as well.

Diavel will sports smaller turn signals, more prominent air intakes, a revised headlight and possibly new wheels, with some additional wheels offered as an option. At the same time, the bike is said to receive a new, better seat, with a big resemblance to that of the Strada touring trim.

Ducati will also allegedly change the exhausts with new ones looking more like the Termignoni cans. The bike would receive new mappings, while the engine itself is said to be the dual-spark Testastretta, with a smoother feel about it. No price was named but we can safely expect a slightly higher one. The new Diavel should be available in the basic Dark trim, as well as in Carbon, with white and red versions rumored, too.
