We reported earlier that the early-2015 Diavel is powered by the latest-generation Testastretta 11° Dual Spark engine, retaining the riding modes and all the usual bells and whistles of modern Ducati machinery. That is, ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), with added full LED illumination, the very cool color TFT displays and plenty of restyled elements.

For 2015, Ducati understood that there are riders who would really like the color choice for their new Diavel, so the available liveries address this issue better. The Dark option brings forth a blackened Diavel, with a Dark Stealth livery, black wheels and black trellis frame, as sober and commanding as it gets.

On the other hand, the Diavel Carbon is available in the traditional Ducati Red over Matte Carbon with red frame combo, and an even more stylish all-new Star White over Matte Carbon with white frame. Both versions come with forged Marchesini wheels wit contrast machining exposing the shiny aluminium underneath the black paint.

Of course, a generous list of optional parts and accessories are also available for each of the 2015 Diavel models, including a passenger backrest. The Carbon version weighs in at an incredible 205 kg (452 lbs) dry, thanks to the tank panels, single seat cover, front mudguard and multiple other lightweight parts. With 162 horsepower on tap and a precise ride-by-wire throttle, the 2015 Ducati Diavel is surely even more appealing than the previous versions.
