De Agostini is launching the “Finest Cars in Japan” weekly magazine, set to showcase the finest cars that have colored the history of Japan’s auto industry.
Structured in several chapters, the magazine will feature detailed information on each Japanese vehicle regarding its features, specs, history, genealogy, prices and competition back in the day. The first issue features 50 pages costing ¥290 ($2.8/€2) while the following issues will feature 32 pages.
The first issue was presented on December 12th in an inaugural press conference held in a Mega Web theme car garage located in Odaiba, Tokyo, where the first two featured vehicles in the magazine could also be seen in flesh and bones - a Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R and a Toyota 2000GT.
There were also several classic Toyota’s showcased at the event, including a Sports 800, Corolla Levin AE 86 and a Toyopet Crown, which you can see bellow.
