The new Dacia Sandero supermini has been unveiled officially by Renault group, ahead of its scheduled debut at the Paris Motor Show 2012 on September 27th.
The five-door hatchback will be produced at Dacia’s factories in Mioveni, Romania, where a right-hand drive version will also be assembled for the UK market. The official launch date in the isles has been set for January 2013, when the Duster SUV will most likely receive a refresh.

The bad news is the new Logan sedan will not be sold in the UK, at least not yet, according to an official Dacia statement.
For the UK market, the Romanian carmaker is promising a “shockingly affordable” price tag, though they did not reveal specific details. “Prices and specifications will be announced, together with the opening of UK ordering, in the not too distant future,” the official statement reads.

According to our information, the base Sandero (for Europe, not necessarily the UK) will be sold for €7,900 and will come with a 1.2-liter 75 hp engine. Other engine options should include a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter and Renault’s 1.5-liter turbodiesel in two power output levels.
