New Dacia Logan Pick-Up

Back in 2007, Romania’s budget car brand Dacia introduced the Logan Pick-Up, a two-door version of the Logan MCV that would go on sale the next year from between €7,300 and €9,450.

Starting in October 2008, the Logan Pick-Up began began being sold in Africa as the Nissan NP200. Now though, the model is no longer produced at Dacia’s core factory in Mioveni because the Dokker has replaced the old utilitarian lineup, including the MCV.

Romania, Brazil, Colombia, India, Iran, Morocco, Russia and South Africa – all these places enjoy and actually build different variants of the Logan, also under Renault, Nissan or Lada names. So we really don’t believe we’ve heard the last of the Logan Pick-Up.

Based on the New Logan shown earlier this week, which will make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show, there rendering of a future pickup model have been created by Theophilus Chin. The strong new features of the sedan work even better with a load bed. Though to really get the most practicality we’d have suggested a longer overhang.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
