Our talented pixel master and Photoshop wizard masterfully rendered the upcoming Cadillac CT6 flagship sedan back in September and it seems like someone on GMInsideNews forum has been paying attention to autoevolution's own rendering.
It may lack the proportional correctness of our own creation and some cues like the D-pillar are so very wrong, but this rendering of the upcoming CT6 does offer a new view on what to expect from the car that'll put Cadillac once again on the luxury map.
According to its creator, this rendering of the flagship sedan was made based on leaked CAD images, but that's highly unlikely considering how secretive Caddy is with this vehicle. Our guess is that spy photographs were used as the basis, with Caddy's current design language used here and there to fill in some blanks like the front fascia design.

Still, this is one handsome bruiser that oozes supreme comfort. What else should you expect from the CT6 by the time it enters production in the fourth quarter of 2015? Well, you're in for a big treat.
In order to compete against the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series and to be way more posh than the XTS, Cadillac engineers will give the CT6 a 3-liter V6 twin-turbo powerhouse coupled to what we expect to be the fast-shifting 8L90 eight-speed automatic tranny. Besides that powertrain, the Cadillac CT6 will also spawn a plug-in hybrid variant that'll reportedly return a "fuel economy upwards of 70 mpg equivalent."
One last very important aspect about the CT6 is that it will be 8 inches (20 centimeters) longer than the 2015 Cadillac CTS, but it will weigh roughly 53 pounds (24 kilograms) less than Cadillac's mid-size sedan.
