Yesterday, Sony announced the release of its new Playstation 4 and what new updates will be available for the PS3 and Vita platforms. That might not be of outmost interest for the automotive industry.
However, some of us are still enjoying a good game once in a while. Why? Because we get to pretend we're driving cars that would be far out of our reach otherwise. Furthermore, sometimes, we get to pretend we're some awesome people that can do extraordinary things.
It's also the case with the Gran Turismo series. Over the years, they allowed us to take a look at some of the most exquisite models ever built and drive them, even though it was just in a virtual world.
The upcoming Gran Turismo 6 is a worthy successor in the franchise, and will feature some of the newest and most exclusive cars ever built. Amongst them you'll find the new BMW E89 Z4 GTE, the car that replaced the aging and most successful BMW M3 GT in the American Le Mans Series.
The Z4 already had a good start in the ALMS, proving its worth and keeping the BMW badge up in the competition hierarchy. Now, it's time for you to try it out.
Of course, as always, the trailer for the GT6 is filled with amazing new and old cars. You'll get to see the legendary Mazda RX7 at work, next to the Audi R8 LMS, the Tesla Model S, Audi Quattro and many many others in a beautifully crafted video, posted below.
