New BMW X5 Exclusive Edition and Optional Extras Coming This Fall

A little while ago we were reporting that BMW will expand the X3 range from autumn 2011 with the addition of the BMW X3 xDrive20i and the BMW X3 xDrive35d. But it looks like the X3 is not the only SUV in the German automaker’s range to get an extra appeal, as its bigger sibling, the X5 will also offer customers some additional reasons to enter showrooms, starting from this fall.

For example, just a couple of months separate us from the moment when the BMW X5 range will receive additional equipment options, new exterior colors (Citrine Black Metallic) and an expanded choice of light alloy wheels.

Furthermore, the BMW X5 Sport Package includes the new M leather steering wheel with integrated gearshift paddles. Also, BMW Individual extended Merino leather trim is also now available in Amaro Brown, while door sill finishers will feature the BMW Individual designation.

According to the German brand, the BMW X5 Exclusive Edition model will also become available from this autumn, in the exterior finish Platinum Bronze Metallic, plus the front door sill finishers featuring the BMW Edition designation and the rear sills bearing the BMW lettering.

Inside, the interior is further enhanced with the BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite, the wood trim in dark Bamboo grain, plus black floor mats with oyster-colored edging. The front sport seats upholstered in Nevada leather Oyster with black contrasting seams will feature heating and electric seat adjustment for maximum comfort. Another additional option for the Exclusive Edition are new 20-inch light alloy wheels with Y spoke styling.

Finally, the BMW X5 xDrive30d will also be available with BMW BluePerformance technology and will fully meet all of the requirements of the EU6 exhaust emissions standard.
