The E-Coupe never received its own Black Series variant, or a “regular” AMG version for that matter, so the C-Class Coupe got it all.
The current Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series is more than a worthy successor to the CLK version.
Both models share a version of the now legendary M156 AMG engine. The 6.2-liter normally-aspirated V8 develops 507 hp and 630 Nm (465 lb ft) of torque in the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, while the newer C 63 AMG Black Series offers the same torque but 10 hp more.
In other words, they are so much alike that a race between the two on a circuit would pretty much depend almost entirely on the drivers involved. The peeps form TouriClips recently caught such a friendly race between the two models, with the older CLK 63 AMG Black Series oddly driving in front of the C-Class.
