Bentley Motors is so proud of its new creation, the V8-powered (read Audi-powered) sports luxury coupe, that it’s taking the car wherever it can. One of the most important events for the British manufacturer takes place on home turf: the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
To prepare for the even which draws in British spectators in their thousands, Bentley has already sent the ISR Convertible together with the the Continental GT V8 up the Goodwood hill for the first high-speed runs.
The event takes place this summer, but VIP guests already got a sneak peak at what the new Continental coupe can do and what the twin-turbo V8 sounds like.
“The team had an excellent day at Goodwood with the new Continental V8 and we’re now looking forward to returning in the summer as one of the Festival’s official partners and with our leading ‘Bentley Boy’ drivers behind the wheel,” commented Steven Egan, Bentley’s Marketing Operations Manager.
We’ll remind you that V8 version starts at EUR161,840, which is EUR22,134 less than the W12 model. So, we’ve said before this is the car they should have built from the beginning.
