Psst, want to play a game that's like Mortal Kombat, Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto all rolled into one? Wait until the new Batman game comes out!
The creative dudes at Rocksteady have already announced that Batman: Arkham Knight will be the first game in the franchise that allows you to control the famous Batmobile. But until we saw this video, we didn't know exactly what that meant. Far from chasing the penguin in an animal-shaped car, you will be taking on a army of mercenaries with the fate of Gotham being at stake.

Scarecrow has returned to unite the Rogues Gallery and has enlisted the Arkham Knight and his immense military force to bring all-out War to Gotham City and destroy the Batman once and for all. The new Batmobile is seen entering Battle Mode in the next video, as it takes on a small platoon of tanks gathered at Ace Chemicals.

Unlike normal tanks, the new Batmobile has a crabbing action, being able to "jump" to the side and availed incoming fire, which is great for close-quarters combat. The game makers claim their version of the crime-fighting vehicle comes with "gyroscopic wheels" mounted on hydraulic arms and made from bullet-proof synthetic fibers.

Like the Tumbler from the three latest movies, there's also a rocket at the back hat helps it jump broken bridges or accelerate. Weapons systems? It's got a Vulvan gun pushing out 25mm shells, a 60mm cannon capable of penetrating up to 829mm of steel plating at blank range and a non-lethal riot suppressor that launches 50-gram rubber pellets.

As powerful as a Bugatti, as fast as a Lamborghini

But the pièce de résistance for us is the engine. They say it's a WayneTech hybrid power cell with jet turbo, but they could have said it runs on dissected criminals. The horsepower output is 1,200 hp, which is supposedly enough for 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and a Lamborghini-rivaling top speed of 209 miles per hour without the use of afterburners.

Co conclude, the new Batmobile is as powerful as a Bugatti, as fast as a Lambo and as dangerous as an army of tanks.
