ABT Sportsline just started tuning the new Audi S3, but we think they got it right the first time, with big power and very pleasant cosmetic touches.
The new S3 packs a very respectable 300 PS from the latest generation 2.0 TFSI turbo engine. That's a big improvement over the previous model, but ABT tuned to be even more powerful than the old RS3. At 370 PS and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque, we doubt any hot hatch will be able to touch this car.
As a result of the extra power, the S3 will be able to play with Porsche, thanks to its 0 to 100km/h sprint time of 4.6 seconds and top speed of 165 mph (265 km/h).
Thankfully, ABT have spared us the strange grilles and have instead fitted just a set of large 20-inch wheels. Also available are smaller 18-inch wheels and matching and matching performance tires n 225/40 R18, 225/35 R19 or 235/30 R20.
