German carmaker Audi has changed the very German way in which it presented its new cars into something a bit more energetic and also web-oriented. Yesterday, they rolled out the new A3 Cabriolet, a much more practical compact convertible that's also quite sexy.
Instead of going for the usual B-Roll footage, the Audi media guys took a page out of the Top Gear playbook and organized a (fake) race between the guy driving the A3 and his girlfriend rocking a paraglider.
It's unlikely you'll be doing that with your girlfriend, but at least they found a creative way of saying "hey, we know everybody loves the sun and the sky, here's how you can enjoy them".
You guys should also check out the official launch video at the very end of this story for a simple explanation as to what makes the new A3 Cabrio better. If you're not about driving thrills and prefer build quality over cute design, this could be the convertible for you.
