Aston Martin is taking its new Vanquish on a UK tour that will see the GT visit the automotive producer’s 21 dealers across the country. Aston’s new halo car left the company’s global HQ at Gaydon on Monday, September 10, with the first stop scheduled for the recently revamped Aston Martin Works dealership in nearby port Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.
The vehicle is traveling in a customized truck that comes dressed in a special Vanquish livery, but, unfortunately, doesn’t allow fans to see the car inside.
Here’s what Aston has to say about the tour: “The brief tour, which includes exclusive invitation-only customer preview events at Aston Martin dealerships around the country where guests have the chance to see the Vanquish close up, discuss its many technical and styling highlights and place an order for the new car, comes just ahead of the car’s global media launch which takes place within weeks.”
We;ll remind you that the new Vanquish is motivated by a V12 unit delivering 573 hp, which allows it to play the 0 to 62 mph game in 4.1 seconds and offer a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).
