Before the show cars headed out for Pebble Beach, Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ultich Bez, showed the new Vanquish off to a few customers. It seems that Matt Farah was among those people, because a video of the Vanquish revving its engine just turned up on TheSmokingTire.
In it we see a baby blue Vanquish and Mr. Bez in regular streets clothes (and a funny hat), explaining the advancements in paint and the characterful new version of Aston’s V12.
The AM310 is a replacement for the DB9 and the DBS. It’s built on a hollow-cast aluminum chassis and features aluminum body panels. This makes the car 55 kg or 120 lbs lighter, but also 25 percent stiffer.
Powering the exciting exotic car is a 6-liter V12 engine that delivers 565bhp (573 PS), which is 55 hp more than the DBS. Zero to 100 km/h is dealt with in 4.1 seconds and the car reach a top speed of 295km/h (183mph).
