Football, the olympics and some silly singing competition we can’t remember the name of are all responsible for the fact that there won’t be any more Top Gear this year. But this have given the boys a chance to improve the quality of the show and film a really awesome new series.
There can be no question that James, Richard and Jeremy are patriotic fellows, so it shouldn’t surprise anybody that they were quick to check out the new Aston Martin Vanquish. We have no doubt that the supercar will be featured on the show, but the first to actually test it was the Stig.
The photo above was posted on Facebook a couple of weeks ago with the following message “The Stig and the new Aston Martin Vanquish! The perfect recipe for our new @topgearliveuk TV ad. Airs on DAVE from 3 Sept.”
Will Sitg and the guys like it? With a 565bhp 6.0-liter V12 engine, there can be little doubt they will. The car is also exquisitely designed, putting even the Ferrari 458 Italia to shame.
