The Goodwood hills were alive with the sound of horsepower and V12 music, as this weekend marked the first public outing of their brand new car, the AM310 Vanquish that replaces the old DBS.
The Vanquish vas joined at the Goodwood Festival of Speed by a gray V12 Zagato and the Vantage GTE race car.

The DBS that was built between 2007 and 2012 was just a tweaked version of the DB9. But the Vanquish is bespoke and offers new hollow-cast aluminum chassis and a carbon fiber body. This makes the car 55 kg or 120 lbs lighter, but also 25 percent stiffer.

The familiar 6-liter V12 is still hiding under the bonnet, but it now offers 565bhp (573 PS), which is 55 hp more than the DBS’s engine. As a result of all this, the British supercar will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 295km/h (183mph).

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
