As we already knew, seeing the biggest names in the aftermarket industry designing and engineering add-ons for the new Indian motorcycles is only a matter of time. As the popularity of the new Indians is gaining more traction in both the home market and overseas, the aftermarket parts manufacturers will have to fulfill a growing number of demands from customers.

From seats to wheels, exhausts and other hardware, bling or not, the Indian aftermarket segment is only starting to grow. Arlen Ness reveals two new front caliper models, left and right, sporting either chrome or black with accent machining finishes.

New calipers fit both Indian and Victory machines, with minimal exceptions

If you needed some proof that Polaris used certain elements from the Victory platform when they built the new generation of Indian motorcycles, here's a nice hint. The new Arlen Ness calipers will fit all 2014 and newer Indian bikes and Victory motorcycles 2010 and newer, with only two exceptions. They will not fit the new Indian Scout, and the Victory Vision models.

The calipers are made in the USA and are supplied with seals and instructions. Ness adds that replacement seals are not included and must be purchased separately.

It looks like these calipers are not offering a performance boost over the stock units. Otherwise Arlen Ness would not miss the opportunity to advertise this, too. Anyway, if you feel like boosting the looks of your Indian, the Ness calipers are definitely one of the trick solutions.

And since Arlen Ness already has several custom wheel options for Indian and Victory customers, a Ness dealer might be a very rewarding one-stop experience. The new calipers are available at a nickel under the $250 (€227) mark a pop.

As to the similarities between the two brands, we're already curious how much of one bike's parts are interchangeable with the other's.
