New 2014 Chrysler 200 to Show Future Brand Design Language

It seems that Chrysler is well aware of the fact that its current design language won’t take the company too far and executives are determined to change this. It will all start with the next generation of the Chrysler 200, which will serve as a styling language hint for all upcoming models.

Chrysler’s design boss, Ralph Gilles, told Wards Auto that the next 200, which is set to arrive for the 2014 model year, will mark the start of a styling revolution at Chrysler. He didn’t offer any details about the car’s styling, only saying that it "shares no surface language with any previous Chrysler we've ever seen."

The Dodge Avenger sister model will be killed once the new 200 comes to the market, but the company is already working on a vehicle that will fill the gap left by the move.
