A couple of stunning pictures created by Roger Lighterness have been featured on Bimmerpost, and we have to say they are spot on. As well they should, because he has imagined a number of other significant BMWs in the past.

Finished in gray, the new M3 shows a number of details that we’ve come to expect from the Bavarian go-fast division.

Despite the fact that the base 3-Series has grown is size, the extra folds and creases make it look more sporty than ever before. At he front, we are greeted by a pair of huge intakes on either side, but no bonnet bulge. That’s because the car is believed to be powered by a 3.3-liter V6 with twin turbos based on the 4.4-liter V8 in the M5. Output should be about 450 hp, though BMW might decide to squeeze some extra juice.
