Santa Ana-based Californian motorcycle accessories manufacturer Nelson-Rigg surfaces their new CL-885 touring saddlebags system, now with faux carbon fiber accents for a more stylish attire.
The Nelson-Rigg CL-885 is a dual sidebag system for those who don't need the bulk of traditional plastic or aluminium panniers or quite a huge storage space.
These bags offer 28.76 liters of storage on each side of the bike, so the CL-885 provides about half the storage the big cases come with and thins might be just enough for short trips.
The Nelson-Rigg is made from top-drawer Tri-Max ballistic nylon with heat resistant panels in the critical areas, coil-over zippers and reflective piping for better visibility at night. Fibertech carbon-fiber like panels adorn the sides for an exquisite look.
Quick release mounts make using these bags easy and convenient and Nelson-Rigg claims they will fit great on pretty much any OEM luggage rack. The 15”L x 9”W x 13”H (38 x 23 x 33) bags come with a rain cover and retail for $149.95 (€115).
The CL-885 also come with matching CL-1035 tank bags (17.2 liters) and CL-1070 tail bags (22.9 liters) for even more room. Priced $89.95 (€69) each.
