We all had to change our tires for a crazy reason, and Nelly does have a funny one. He shared on social media his glorious black-on-black Rolls-Royce Dawn after getting new “shoes” courtesy of his cat.
Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., also known as Nelly in the entertainment industry, doesn’t always show off his vehicles on social media. But when he does, it's sure meant to make an impression. This past September, Nelly welcomed his latest ride, a black-on-black Rolls-Royce Dawn, which he acquired from the famous dealership Champion Motoring which works with athletes and other celebrities alike.

For his custom convertible, Nelly didn’t overdo it, and it’s simple, elegant, and gorgeous, with a black painted exterior, and you can see all these in our photo gallery. When purchasing it, he didn’t give us an insight into the interior, but from the looks of it, it follows the same black color scheme inside, as well.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn comes with the British luxury carmaker’s 6.6-liter V12 engine that delivers 593 horsepower (601 ps) and a maximum torque of 640 lb-ft (840 Nm). With these figures, you can imagine that the convertible is quite fast, being able to hit 62 mph (100 kph) in less than five seconds, with a top speed limited at 155 mph (249 kph).

The Dawn makes a great ride if you want to be both fancy and stand-off-ish, and Nelly knows it. But his recent Instagram Story shows that he took it back to Champion Motoring for some new “shoes.” The rapper gave us a new glimpse of the new tires. The reason why he needed new ones? He also explained that, and said “courtesy of my cat.” The feline must have tested the power of its claws on the rubber and apparently they're strong.

The things we, cat owners do because of our little furry ones. But now his beautiful convertible looks like it’s brand new and ready to go with its new tires. Until the next time his cat can't find a scratch post.
